Once again highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of research areas within Information Science, Network Science houses Cornell computer and information scientists whose interests extend into sociology, economics, applied mathematics, and more. Network Science researchers are interested in studying how the social, technological and natural worlds are connected, exploring areas like network flow, the ways in which information spreads through social networks, and how and why fads develop (and collapse).
