Info Sci's François Guimbretière is among the project leads for the Cornell Race & Empathy Project, a soundbooth located in Albert R. Mann Library where visitors can listen and share everyday stories that evoke racial empathy. A collaboration between François, Corinna Loeckenhoff and Anthony Burrow (both of Human Development), this cool, interactive piece is one of 12 campus projects and installations associated with the Cornell Council for the Arts 2016 Biennial. Also of note: Info Sci PhD Dongwook Yoon had a hand in this collaboration.

The booth will be up in Mann Library through October 14, so stop in, hear stories from fellow Cornellians and maybe share your own.
