Info Sci Assistant Professor Aditya Vashistha has been named the 2020-2021 Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) and ProQuest WAGS/ProQuest Innovation in Technology Award winner. This award recognizes a single dissertation among 200+ member institutions of Western Association of Graduate Schools.
Completed while at the University of Washington, Vashistha's dissertation is called "Social Computing for Social Good in Low-Resource Environments."
He will be recognized at the 63rd annual WAGS conference on March 22, 2021.
