BACKGROUND
João joined Cornell after finishing his ALM in Psychology from Harvard with a thesis focused on the Tompkins and Tioga County areas. A Brazilian native, João has embraced the Finger Lakes where he now lives with his husband Edgar and their three cats. He believes in the power of systemic change and conscious policymaking; in his free time, he enjoys gardening, playing video games, and snowboarding in the winter.
