Hui Yang is a postdoctoral associate at the Department of Information Science, working with Steven Jackson and Rene Kizilcec on the Active Learning Initiative grant. Her primary work targets to facilitate the department in the incorporation of active learning approaches and learning sciences research into designing effective Information Science fundamental coursework. In addition, she collaborates with the Future of the Learning Lab on evaluating these redesigned courses.

Prior to coming to Ithaca, Hui received her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences from the University of Delaware. Her research interests include educational technology, teacher education, learning environment design, STEM education, and learning analytics.
