Nicole is a native of Ithaca (and Trumansburg), New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Cornell. Before joining the Information Science Department in fall 2024, Nicole served as the Assistant Director of Computer Science Undergraduate Advising at Cornell for 24.5 years. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and enjoying great food, working in her at-home pottery studio, gardening, and (sometimes grudgingly) working on the never-ending projects that come with stewarding a c.1850 home in the 21st century.
