Fengyang Lin is a Ph.D. student in Information Science focusing on digital economy, online platforms, privacy and security. Her research centers on understanding and evaluating the relationship between technology and online platform users, with a keen focus on their attitudes, experiences, and behaviors concerning advertising and privacy matters. She has a background in statistics, machine learning and economics. Before joining Cornell, she earned a B.S. in Applied Statistics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in Shanghai, China and an M.S. in Statistics from Columbia University.
