Sil Hamilton is a Ph.D. student in Information Science studying machine learning and cultural analytics under David Mimno and Matthew Wilkens. His work investigates computational narrative understanding with large language models. Prior to Cornell, Sil completed a MA in the digital humanities under Andrew Piper at McGill University and a BA in English and Cultural Studies & Media Arts at McMaster University.
