Serena Ge Guo is currently a PhD student in Information Science at Cornell University. Her research goal is to explore ways of bringing human physicality into the digital world, to foster empathy in our living environment. Her current interests lie in mixed reality, research through design, and spatial interaction. She's also interested in how knowledge from architecture and social psychology could inspire human-computer interaction. Prior to Cornell, she received her bachelor's degree in architectural design from the University of Hong Kong, and a master of architecture degree from Columbia University with the Honor Award for Excellence in Design.
