"Motivating Energy Conservation"
The study attempts to explore and to understand the role of mobile designs in household energy conservation. In particular, this research focuses on evaluating a mobile application design in understanding the following aspects:
mobile design elements that are effective for motivating energy conservation, and elements that do not have any influence;
mobile design elements that are influential for increasing awareness of energy conservation, and elements that do not have such influence;
user experience of interacting with such mobile application;
whether or not the mobile application helps to establish energy-saving behaviors.
