Gili Vidan, assistant professor of Information Science, will lead this IS Engaged undergraduate advising session on the topic of Information Ethics, Law, and Policy. Ask Professor Vidan about the usefulness of history in thinking about technology and society, what makes technology trustworthy, what makes someone a tech expert, and questions about applying to grad school.
This session will be held virtually via Zoom
IS Engaged is a series of 15 open, forum-style advising sessions with Info Sci faculty. These hybrid, drop-in office hours are designed to help undergraduate students navigate the major, understand its concentrations, career options, graduate school, research opportunities, and much more. Open to all Cornell undergraduates.
