Phoebe Sengers, associate professor of Information Science, will lead this IS Engaged undergraduate session on the topic of Digital Culture and Production. Ask Professor Sengers your critical questions about technology: why do people seem so angry on-line? Can ethical people work at Facebook? How is automation going to affect my job? And: what can I do to make a difference?
This talk will be held virtually via Zoom
IS Engaged is a series of 15 open, forum-style advising sessions with Info Sci faculty. These hybrid, drop-in office hours are designed to help undergraduate students navigate the major, understand its concentrations, career options, graduate school, research opportunities, and much more. Open to all Cornell undergraduates.
